MWGA Volunteer Application

Specific Areas of Interest:

Tournament Committee
Be a volunteer for one or more of our tournaments, championships or association day events. We need volunteers to serve as coordinators and also to work our registration desks and serve as on-course spotters. If you’ve never been a volunteer, this is a great place to start.

Rules Committee
Work as a rules official or a limited rule official, depending on your qualifications. To be a limited rules official, you do not need to have previous rules training or experience. It’s a great way to become knowledgeable about rules. You’ll work as a team with other women with a variety of golf skills and knowledge – and its fun!

Juniors Committee
Serve as a volunteer at one of our events for junior golfers or be a part of our Juniors’ Committee and work on development issues to enhance junior girls’ involvement and participation in our events.

Liaison Program
Represent your club and serve as a Club Liaison to the MWGA; this is a great way to meet players in your geographical area and become more involved in your own club. Or take it to the next level – as a Regional Liaison you will coordinate events and participation within one of our 11 regions and meet even more MWGA members!

Communications
There are many opportunities for women who would enjoy writing an article for our newsletter or web site, including covering an MWGA related event. The MWGA also needs volunteers to assist with public relations and development of membership benefits.
