Your MWGA knows that many of you are not able to take time during the day to attend one of our Association Days, so this year we are piloting a new event with a focus on fun. It's a 9-hole Association Day at Dellwood Hills Golf Club and Monday, June 21st is the date to hold if you'd like to take part in this inaugural event. You will have plenty of time to practice putting, hit a few range balls and get settled in your cart before the 6:30 p.m. "shotgun" start. The $40 fee covers green fees, the use of all practice facilities, a motorized cart for the event, heavy appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages (alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase).
We believe this fun, non-competitive event will be a popular one; applications will be processed in the order they are received, so please register early to avoid missing this opportunity. Registration forms are available in the MWGA yearbook and on the web site (http://www.mwga-online.org/new/assocdays.cfm?tyear=2010). There are only two requirements to play in this event: you must be an MWGA member and be ready to have fun! Not an MWGA member yet? You can join if you are a member of a member club (check the list here http://www.mwga-online.org/new/memberclubs.cfm). To join, contact your Club Liaison or print the application form on our web site (on the "About Us" menu, select the "Join Us" option). For more information, contact Paula Lutz at the MWGA office at 952-345-3961 or paula@mngolf.org.
